Hi! I am Karla, the adventurous spirit behind The Adventure Fix. I am pretty much always either planning a trip or off having an adventure somewhere. Adventure Fix is where I share my passion for travel, life exploration, and savvy tips for making the most of your travels.

I started travel writing in 2009 and wanted to focus on adventures that will appeal to women travelling alone, as well as with their families. Here you will find an assortment of travel destinations including our favorite surf travel destinations, the islands that we love and much more.

• Weekend Trips: As a working woman, I don’t have unlimited vacation time (yet!), and I have to fit a lot of adventures in on weekends. Weekend trips can often be amazing for a quick recharge.
• Using Points and Miles Wisely: I can travel so often because of points and miles. I can teach you how to use them to travel better and more often.
